About MySpace
MySpace was the world's largest music social network. It was founded by Chris DeWolfe and Tom Anderson on 1 August 2003, in Beverly Hills, California. In July 2005, MySpace was sold for $580 million to News Corporation, a media empire that includes 20th Century Fox and the Fox television stations. On 29 June 2011, Specific Media Group, a digital media company, together with Justin Timberlake, acquired MySpace for approximately $35 million. On 12 June 2013, the classic version of MySpace was replaced by the "new MySpace."
